If You Are Florist, This Tattoo Might be for You. Tulip Tattoo in Ornamental Style
This is my first big Flash Tattoo Design ever adopted, thank yo for your trust :)
Most of my tattoo design is taking inspiration from Tenun Ikat motif or Songket motif, this one is no different, except the structure or the core idea is taken from batik floral motif.
The flow is more fluid and dynamic hence from the Batik character itself. the leaf on this tattoo design is come from Batik pattern as well. The flower stalk in inspired by Songket motif and the flowers petal have Tenun Bali called Gringsing influenced.
Combination between fluid dynamic flow and rigid pattern on the flower petal create an interesting composition and vibes in my opinion.

I do some different arrangement doing this Ornament Tulip project from the original flash design, of course it is to better positioning so it can suit the leg placement, that is why for the leaf and stem part I use free hand method.
Exploring the flower placement and where the stem goes and under is really fun and interesting, the challenging part is the free hand part is easily wipe of since I use sharpie and it a bit frustrating :v
