Ornamental Shin Tattoo.
Roaster in Ornamental Style Tattoo With Bali Patra Pattern.
Since my mentor decide to stop tattooing and close the shop for good, I decide to do a guest work instead of immediately join another tattoo studio as a resident artist. It was in Lab 01 tattoo studio located in near Canggu area.
This tattoo design inspired by Roaster in Bali culture. The people have a collective hobby in my opinion called Tajen, which is a roaster fight. Another flash design taken and not gonna lie I still get amazed by the time seeing my digital concept finally has it is own place on people skin. Basically this design inspired by Tenun Gringsing from desa Tenganan and aswell of Patra Bali hint.
Nothing much I can say about this design, the vocal point I put some intricate detail with the Patra motif and a negative space design in the middle part. Also applied on the wings of the roaster as well. The 3 diamond pattern on the bottom part just a bit simple and bold to create balance, IMHO :)
